Work! Work! Work! That's all I do.

To make ends meet. With a buck or two.

Gas prices up. I'll catch a ride.

My cloths are holey. I'll patch and hide.

Bills are pilingUp to the sky!

Uncle SamNeeds a piece of the pie.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Juggling figures big and small.

The kids are yelling For the newest toy.

Buying her flowers. Mom gleams with joy.

Changing a diaper. or erecting steel.*

These hands of mine obey my will.

Food on the table. All bills are paid.

Putting aside the plans I made.

Dreaming the Browns will catch the ball.

And before I die they will win it all!

Hit the snooze! As time slips by.

And snuggle up to the reason why.

I'll work today. And then tomorrow.

And maybe even have to borrow.

But I thank the dear Lord above.

To me this work is A Labor Of Love....
